Zombie Babies

Zombies are scary, deadly and carnivorous creatures right? Not this time, they're cute, yucky and smelly Babies! Zombie Babies is a humorous character building card and dice game. The aim of the game is to get the most XP points by completing quests which involves killing zombies, collecting items and building your characters stats. Ever wondered how a baby can help during a Zombie apocalypse well now you know. Warning: you may look at babies differently after this game!

It was any other day, mummy dropped you at the nursery and gave you a kiss goodbye. Later in the afternoon you were taken upstairs for your nap when you started to hear the screams. The grown-up who carried you upstairs put you in the cot and ran to the door, she let out a high pitched scream, then yelled ‘they’re all dead’. She ran down the corridor, you could hear the thumping on the stairs and then nothing. The nursery was quiet and still, then you started hearing gurgling, giggling and something being dragged down the corridor. Ducking down under the covers in the cot you saw him... one of the babies, he was covered in blood, his skin green, his eyes yellow. He was a Zombie!

The nursery has been overrun by baby zombies, eating all the grown-ups! How will you get home? When mummy comes to get you they’ll eat her, you need to kill them all before she comes! You’ll need strength, intelligence, bravery, a weapon or two and probably a nap in the middle.

Zombie Babies is a game of building your characters' attributes (strength, intelligence, bravery) and earning experience.

Build your Hero - Improve on your skills and gain items to help you complete quests and defeat zombies.

Complete Quests - Choose to fight a zombie or choose a 'activity' quest to find items and build on your 3 stats, to make future questing easier.

Take a Nap - Too scared to venture forth? Regain your health or energy before embarking on your next quest.

Player Interaction - Use special cards to help yourself or make life harder for your opponents.

The quest deck represents your journey through the nursery and the obstacles you need to face. Each quest requires you to complete a set of skill tests by rolling dice to test your characters stats individually. Quest cards include a small funny story which players can choose to read.

You roll the number of dice equal to your characters stat that matches the test requirement on the Quest card. Get that number of symbols on your dice and you get the rewards listed at the bottom of the card, these can be an Item, an increase to your characters stats or XP.

If you fail you might lose some stats you gained earlier in the game or health or energy.

After completing quests and defeating zombies you keep the card and place it under your hero building your stats and XP. Going up each XP level gives you rewards that can help on your journey through the nursery.

At the end of each game a random Boss card will appear, all other quests will disappear and players will have to fight the Boss to the death to survive!
