A head-to-head star battle between two players.
The scenario: In the far reaches of another galaxy, far beyond the planet UR, two warring factions fight for control of the system. Each side sends seven of their top star destroyers to meet in a lonely corridor of space. At the end of the corridor, a safe haven that will also function as a strategic outpost.
The goal: Is to be the first (player) to get all seven of their ships onto the game board and safely off again.
The play:
[Complete game rules are printed on the box bottom, and are presented in the featured video, but here goes anyway...]
Each player gets 7 of their own star ships.
Players take turns, rolling a D6 dice.
A quick roll will determine who plays first.
Players roll and move ships onto the game board following their own path that shares the central "combat" corridor. Any number of ships can be on the board at any time. Ships move by exact count, one space at a time. Ships can jump other ships, while the jumped spaces are included in the count. If a player lands on an opponent's ship, it is ejected from the board and must re-enter the game again. A player cannot land on one of their own ships.
The five binary star spaces are "double roll"spaces. If landed on, the player can roll a second time and move any ship. The larger central binary star is also a "Safe" space. A ship cannot be ejected while on this space.
Play continues until one player moves all seven of their ships off the board (to safety).
The parts: 2* Quad fold Starfield Game mats (*includes one spare), 14 starship tokens, one D6 dice, fully printed box with game rules.
*yup! because of printing methods, you get a spare game board!
Game play duration will vary.
