Election! - Road to the White House is an interactive family board game with a focus on America’s greatest leaders. The game is for 2 to 5 players, ages 10+, taking 30-60 minutes to play and a quick 5 minute practice round to learn. Most recently updated after 2020 election. OVERVIEW

The American citizens want a President who can handle important issues of the day. It is the responsibility of each player to nominate a candidate who can give the voters what they want. Candidates include former U.S. Presidents and other influential politicians throughout nearly 250 years of American history.

GAMEPLAY

As a player, you have been granted the power to manage a political party that is desperate for control of the White House. In addition to selecting candidates, you may also take advantage of external factors to influence the election in your party's favor. Should you stay positive by gaining the support of a popular activist or attempt to smear an opponent's image by revealing a scandal? Do you take the high road and try to win ethically or attempt to sabotage your opponents through dirty politics? Votes are all that matters as you navigate your way to the White House.

After winning a series of elections with shrewd strategy and a bit of luck, the player who first advances to the White House space on the board wins the game and earns the right to be called Mr. or Madam President!

UNIQUE FACTORS

• Custom dice provide an innovative scoring system that is used to tally votes.
• 73 candidates are available to be used throughout 59 historical election years (1789-2020) to ensure a high replay value without repetition.
• 30 "Public Opinion" cards change how voters perceive the candidates by bringing to life nearly 250 years of American history. 30 "Red Tape" cards may be used to gain a strategic edge by engaging in the dirtier side of politics.
• Addictive gameplay can be easily modified for younger (or first-time) players.
• No knowledge or interest in American history is required (but may result as a side effect).
