Fastwords

Fastwords is a game of frantic real time word construction and set collection in which you race to claim cards, grab letters, build crosswords, and complete goals.

Setup: At the start of a game of Fastwords, each person begins with one or two cards with blank crosswords on them (Fastword cards). Additional Fastword cards and bonus cards are set out for players to grab later in the game. Then, all the letter tiles get dumped into a big pile, and everyone starts at once.

Game Play: All players simultaneously build words by using one hand to move letters from the pile to their own Fastword cards. When they have completed a card, letter tiles get dumped into the box, and the player keeps the card... earning points listed on the card and possibly working towards claiming a bonus card.

When a player completes a goal on one of the face-up bonus cards, they grab it to claim more points.

End Game: When one player has completed six Fastword cards, the game immediately ends. Everyone counts points earned from Fastword cards, rare letters, and bonus goals to see who is declared the winner.
