Pirates & Privateers

Long days of back breaking work on a ship at sea. Whips cracking at your back. Orders shouted. Bad food. Foul moods. Little pay, when you can get it. And now you have to stay aboard ship while the officers and most of the crew go into port. You have had enough! It's time to gather the lads, steal the ship and make your own way into the world. It's time to be a Pirate!

In Pirates & Privateers: The Golden Age, you start your pirate career at a pirate port with a Flagship and small fleet. It is up to you to become a wealthy and Legendary Pirate. You have many choices to make.

Do you attack all ships from the 6 mighty countries, or keep a few as friends, in case you need a safe port. Which ports do you think you can Plunder? Do you search for a Treasure Map? And if you are asked, will you accept to become a Privateer for a specific country, and attack other players that are enemies of that nation?

The Components: 1 Gameboard, 4 Ship pawns, 90 Encounter cards, 54 Treasure Map cards, 50 plastic Gold Coins, 50 acrylic Emeralds, 50 acrylic Rubies, 50 acrylic Diamonds, 60 Plunder Markers (4 colors), 21 different dice, and 1 Rulebook.
