SpellBooks: Spellcasting 101 Booster Box (Base Set)

SpellBooks™ is a collectable trading card game in which 2-6 players take on the personas of powerful magicians engaged in dangerous battles! Players do this by collecting cards and organizing them into pages of spells to create their own unique spellbook. The game is played in a series of rounds, with each player casting spells in order to reduce their opponents’ Health to 0. Players begin with 25 Health and the last player with Health remaining is the winner.

Each booster pack contains 18 cards - 16 cards for building powerful spells and 2 Item cards! The cards contained are randomly selected from the full 72 card SpellBooks base set - Spellcasting 101! This includes the 48 card base set as well as item and scry cards not found in the Grimoire! Each pack is designed to hold 2 functional, but still random, 8 card pages pages as well as two item cards; just three packs is enough to build a quick spellbook! This booster box contains 20 booster packs (a total of 360 cards).

Players are encouraged to use boosters to find additional cards to build more powerful spells than what can be made with the single copy found in a Grimoire.

Each player will require their own set of cards, dice, and book to play.

A 2x2 card portfolio is required to play SpellBooks™. Portfolio is not included as The Game Crafter does not stock this component, however they are readily available online or in your local game store.
