Description
Zombombbies: The Exploding Zombies Game! is a two to four player grid and card based movement game with a classic horror movie theme.
The Situation
An unscrupulous chemical company has dumped toxic waste into the local cemetery. By sheer coincidence, a missing nuclear bomb was buried there. These seemingly unrelated events have combined to create a dark night of ever-exploding zombies!
The Mission
Players control the wandering movement of the Zombies with various action cards. Drawing one card per turn sees players strategically attempt to bump Zombies together. Doing so will cause an explosion and score a vital point.
The Zombies
A Zombie's movement is determined by the rotation of the walking action card which can be either a straight or L shaped path. Rotate the card in any of the four grid directions and move the Zombie along the full indicated path to collide with other Zombies or the Bomb. Zombies also have a jump action which sees them jump to the outer side of the grid.
The Catch
Be careful not to leave Zombies in a direct path of each other as the next player could take advantage of your miscalculation! Also, while respawning Zombies can not be stopped but where the spawn from can!
The Bomb
The nuclear bomb will move around the centre of the grid when its card is drawn. Bomb detonation occurs when stepped on by a Zombie. Deduct one point from a chosen opponent.
The Win
The first player to score greater than six points wins.
