Our power is in the present moment. You’ve heard that time and again. When you have urges to use behaviors, experience strong emotions, difficult memories, or intense anxiety, finding that ‘thing’ that brings you back to the present can be a big challenge. There is no one solution that works well for all people all the time. With that in mind, we’ve created this card deck using a wide variety of techniques to help you ground and stay in the present moment. Use them all or try using several from each of the 4 categories to see what works best for you. Remember to practice them often-even when you don’t need them to ensure that they work well when you do need them!
