Description
- Play the sport of ice hockey in a board game designed for players to out coach their opposition by creating line-ups at the start of the game using a list of skill levels for their individual figures.
- Team names and individual player names can be created and used to keep statistics as leagues and competitions are developed between game players.
- After the game's opening face-off is completed, game players move figures around the ice pad, followed by action stages in the form of poke-checking, body checking, passing and shooting.
- The game continues with this rotation between offence and defence players being moved and the action stages being done when chosen by a game player.
- Fighting, penalties, turnovers and saves by netminders are also actioned throughout the game, bringing all the elements from the sport of ice hockey to the table top with Ice Hockey with Dice.
